You are summoned to attend a meeting of Buckland Monachorum Parish Council on tuesday 28^th November 2023 at 7.30pm at Yelverton Memorial Hall for the purpose of transacting the business detailed below.

In accordance with The Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960, members of the public and press are welcome to attend.

Members of the public are invited to make representations in writing to their local Councillor OR the Clerk OR in person prior to the commencement of the meeting proper.

4. To receive information with regard to St Andrews School application for Academy Status.
5. To consider and approve the minutes, of the following meeting:
   • The parish council meeting held on 17^th October 2023
   • The minutes of the planning meeting held on 8^th November 2023
   • The minutes of the finance meeting held on 8^th November 2023
6. To receive a report from the WDBC Cllrs for this ward (Cllr Cheadle & Cllr Cunningham)

Yelverton:

9. Grounds Maintenance – any comments or issues to raise.

Buckland/Cemetery  

10. Grounds maintenance
11. Update on Upper Cemetery gates.
12. To note the repair to the cemetery gates to allow better access and to ratify the expenditure.

Playparks and Recreational Ground.

13. To receive costs for new swings at both Buckland and Crapstone. (Cllr Cheadle)
14. Buckland Monachorum.
15. Crapstone Playpark and recreational area update.
16. Update, concerning the repair to Crapstone Field.

Finance:

17. To agree the payments for November 2023 and note the receipts.
18. To note the monthly bank reconciliation.
19. To note the agreement by the National Joint Council of the Pay Agreement 2022-23. This is a contractual point, and the clerk will receive back pay from 1st April 2023.
20. To recommend a precept of £65,000 for 2024/25.
